ENNI Triathlon Moers 🏁

Yesterday felt like one of those days you don’t forget easily. 🤩

I crossed the finish line first, but the win went to @schubert_fabian , who was faster overall after starting in a later wave just 30 minutes after me.

Huge congratulations to @schubert_fabian on the win and @justus_weh on 3rd place – completing the podium. 👏

Out of the water first with around a one-minute lead, and still leading onto the run after a strong bike split – second fastest of the day, despite changing wind conditions later on.

In that moment it was pure emotion – relief, satisfaction, and just gratitude for being back out there racing again. Of course, you always want to win. But sometimes the story of the day is bigger than the result sheet.

After everything I’ve been through, being able to race like this again means a lot. Finding rhythm, pushing through, and truly enjoying the fight out there.

Big thank you to the race organizers @enni_triathlon for putting together such an amazing event, and to everyone who supported me on the course and from afar – it truly makes a difference. 🤝💙

A special thanks to my coach @richard_laidlow for getting me back in shape, and to my partners @scottsportsdach , @lucky_bike ,@arenainternational , @edeka_center_angerbogen , and @surpas_official l for believing in my comeback and supporting the journey! 🚀⚡️

Also a huge shoutout to my club @duisburgersv98 – always proud to represent. 🏊‍♂️

A step forward. Not the final destination, but a meaningful one. 💪

🚴🏽‍♂️✨ New bike. New chapter. Back to racing.

Some journeys are about results. Others are about simply getting back to the start line.

After my sacrum fracture last year in Australia, I spent more than two months confined to bed. At times, even the thought of racing again felt incredibly far away. Six months later, I can finally say: tomorrow I’m back on a triathlon start line at the @enni_triathlon .🙌🏽

At the same time, I’m incredibly excited to announce my partnership with @scottsportsdach and @lucky_bike.

A huge thank you to Scott for believing in my comeback and supporting me with this incredible Scott Plasma. And an equally big thank you to Lucky Bike for making everything happen and helping organize the bike. Your support means a lot and gives me the opportunity to chase my goals again. 🤝🏽

The last six months have been full of patience, rehab, and small steps forward. Being able to race again tomorrow is already a milestone I'm incredibly grateful for.

Now it’s time to enjoy the process, trust the work, and see where this comeback journey leads. 🚀

See you at the start line. 🤙🏼

6th overall and 2nd in AG 30–39 at the 2K Sprint race at @oceanman_italy 🥈🏊🏽‍♂️
And with it, a slot for the World Championship 🌍

Feeling the race atmosphere before the gun went off was one of the things I missed most.
So happy to be back on a starting line after 6 months.

Not a triathlon start line yet, but the progress is continuing in the right direction 📈

Today was just the warm-up before tomorrow’s 5K #HalfOceanman 💥

💥💥 #InjuryUpdate

2 weeks ago I was finally allowed to run outside again. The plan was #Dubai for soft surfaces – but instead I ended up spending a week in #Valencia.

Perfect conditions to get back into training:
easy runs through #TuriaPark, lots of time on the bike and back in the water again.

Finally all three disciplines together 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

No pressure, just building step by step.
Grateful to move pain-free again 🙏

The process continues. 📈
